Under the sponsorship of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Basem Obaid Hassan, and under the supervision of the Head of the Civil Engineering Department, Prof. Dr. Musab Ayed Kasab, the Civil Engineering Department at Al-Nahrain University held a workshop on writing scientific research for postgraduate students. Where the lecture was delivered by Prof. Dr. Waiting Al-Taie / Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The workshop aims to explain the importance of the scientific method, its outputs and foundations, its divisions, stages of growth and weakness, and how to write research from the title to writing sources and references.

The workshop focused on selecting the title of the research, the method of preparing the scientific plan, the conditions for writing the introduction, writing the scientific research methodology in terms of text and margins, and how to use the sources and references for scientific research.
