Enhancement of Laser Ablation and Plasma Emissions for Metallic Alloys Using Nanoparticles

This thesis is focused on the analysis of Nanoparticle-Enhanced Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (NELIBS) for titanium alloy in both bulk and nanomaterial forms. The results highlight the significant impact of laser energy and nanomaterial structure on plasma homogeneity, spectrum intensity, electron temperature, and electron density and compare the emission spectra of bulk metals with nanomaterials to explore structural differences. This work also delves into the optimization of spectrum signals for Ti using NELIBS at different energies, the enhancement of plasma emission, and the calibration-free quantitative analysis of elements.
