Jamal Shaker, who held a master's degree in the
field of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering, participated in the First
Arab Regional International Conference on Prosthetics and Orthotics, held from November 2-4, 2024, at the Le Royal Hotel,
Amman, Jordan. The event was attended by a
distinguished group of specialists in prosthetics, orthotics, orthopedic
surgeons, general practitioners, neurologists, and physical and occupational
therapists from across the globe, along with prominent international companies
in the field.
Ms. Shaker participated as a speaker
and presented her master's project, which was supervised by Professor
Dr. Ahmed Abdul-Sami' Al-Droubi and Assistant
Professor Dr. Abdelkader Qado, in the New
Technologies and Materials session. Her
presentation was titled:
"Construction of 3D Model for Prosthetic Knee Joint
Based on Reverse Engineering of Geometric Modeling Segmentation." Additionally, she acted as a chair in
the Rehabilitation & Gait Analysis session.
