The Department of Chemical Engineering held an awareness and educational campaign on breast cancer on Monday, October 28, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the department's halls, represented by members of the teaching staff. The campaign included the display of an awareness poster aimed to enhance cultural awareness, as well as providing educational guidelines that contribute to combating this disease and hosting an appropriate reception for the occasion. The campaign focused on raising awareness among female students about the importance of early detection of breast cancer. It also emphasized the significance of proper nutrition, regular exercise, and adherence to a healthy lifestyle, and their impact on reducing the risk of developing the disease, God forbid. Additionally, information was provided about medical centers that offer early screening services to ensure their safety.
