Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Jumaa Salman Jiyad, Dean of the College of Engineering / University of Nahrain, and in cooperation with the Student Activities Division, the cultural and scientific debate competition was launched among the college students, for all its scientific departments, which was held in the Euphrates Hall, at eleven o'clock in the morning on Tuesday, corresponding to

10/15/2024.

The competition is based on various questions posed to participants in general, scientific, and specialized fields.

It included discussions and dialogues that enriched the cognitive aspect of the attendees, on various topics about sustainable development, and the free discussions concluded with the selection of the best six students from the participants in the debates, representing the debate competition team of the University of Nahrain, in preparation for participating in the major competition to compete with Iraqi universities.
