Lecturer Huda Diaa Abdul Qadir and Professor Dr. Saad H. Ammar, along with Assistant Professor Dr. Waqar Abdul Wahid Abdulnabi, Assistant Professor Dr. Haidar Maofaq Toafeeq, and Assistant Professor from the Department of Chemical Engineering, have jointly published a new research paper on photodegradation effectiveness entitled "Enhancing visible-light-based photodegradation of antibiotics over facile constructed BiVO4/S-doped g-C3N4 heterojunctions in an airlift photocatalytic reactor."

It was published in the Journal of Water Process Engineering, within the first quartile of the Scopus database, with a Site Score of 10.7 and a Clarivate Impact Factor of 6.3.
