Master’s student Faten Jamal Shaker discussed her thesis entitled “Construction of 3Dmodel for knee joint based on reverse engineering of geometric modeling segmentation” on Wednesday, August 28, by the committee formed by distinguished professors:

1. Professor Dr. Jumah Salman Jiyad, Chairman

2. Assistant Professor Dr. Muslim Mohsen Ali, member

3. Assistant Professor Dr. Yasser Yaarub Qahtan, member

4. Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel Samie Al-Droubi, supervisor

5. Professor Dr. Abdul Qadir Ali Abdul Qadir Qaddo as supervisor.

The research was concerned with using reverse engineering technology to manufacture artificial knee joints and using reverse engineering techniques and design, analysis and manufacturing programs within the field of artificial limbs and supports to achieve the best anthropomorphic shape that is highly similar to the original product, leading to achieving the lowest possible cost for artificial joints to be available to people of determination, and thus it is considered Providing a very great humanitarian service to that class of local society.
