A research team from the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering at Al-Nahrain University, led by Professor Dr. Mahmoud Rashid Ismail, has been awarded a patent for the design and testing of a flexible leg for a below-knee prosthesis. This achievement involved the participation of several master's students, and the research team included:
