A seminar titled "The First Alumni Meeting" was conducted in the spacious setting of the Tigris Hall at the College of Engineering, University of Al-Nahrain, by the Department of Prosthetics and Industrial Supports Engineering. The event, held on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, saw the presence of alumni alongside a distinguished group of professors and department founders. Notably, Mr. Dean Jumaa Salman Jiyad honored the gathering with his esteemed attendance.

During the seminar, Dr.. Jiyad delivered a speech concerning the establishment of the department and strategies to address challenges to ensure its comprehensive development. Additionally, Dr. Ahmed Abdul Samea Aldroubi, the head of the department, delivered a commendation speech, praising the department's graduates and motivating new graduates to continue their development journey beyond graduation.

Students actively engaged by delivering speeches reflecting on their successes and the challenges encountered in their life journeys, offering valuable advice on personal development. This led to insightful discussions between graduates, professors, and department staff.
