A specialized scientific workshop titled "Development and Automation of Laboratory Devices in the Job Market and Curriculum Update" was held in the laboratories of the Biomedical Engineering Department at Al-Nahrain University, College of Engineering. The workshop was graciously sponsored by the respected Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Jamea Salman Jiad. It took place from April 3rd to April 4th, 2024.

The first day of the workshop covered topics such as "The CBC Device and Its Latest Principles" and "Biochemistry Devices and Their Latest Principles." On the second day, discussions centered around "Anti-body and Antigen Examination Devices (ELISA and Newest Principles)."

Participants in this workshop included graduates and students from the Biomedical Engineering Department, as well as students from other departments of biomedical engineering from various universities in Iraq. Additionally, employees from the Ministry of Health and the private sector also attended. The Dean of the College of Engineering commended the efforts of the Biomedical Engineering Department, particularly the department chair and laboratory staff, for organizing such workshops to assist graduates and students in navigating the job market and understanding various medical devices.
