The Department of Prosthetics and Industrial Supports at the College of Engineering organized a second meeting with first-year students to enhance their knowledge of the department and the preparatory curriculum, and to overcome the obstacles they face in their academic journey.
The meeting was heavily attended by first-year students and faculty members, where professors presented detailed presentations about the study program and its objectives, in addition to an explanation of the curricula and subjects they will deal with during their study period.
Discussions during the meeting revolved around providing academic and cognitive support to students, and providing guidance and direction to overcome any challenges they may face during their university study period.
This meeting comes as part of a series of events organized by the department to enhance communication between students and faculty members, and to ensure the provision of a stimulating and supportive educational environment for the development of students’ abilities.
It is worth mentioning that this meeting is the second of its kind during this academic year, as the first meeting was held during the first semester, and this initiative is a continuation of the department’s efforts to strengthen academic ties and improve the learning experience for students.
