In line with its commitment to supporting scientific research and developing the academic skills of its students, the College of Engineering at Al-Nahrain University organized a distinctive seminar for postgraduate students in the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering on Sunday, March 31, 2024. This seminar showcased and evaluated the extent of progress the students have made in their research for their master’s theses.
The seminar was attended by a large number of faculty members and researchers specialized in the field of prosthetics and orthotics engineering. The research was presented by students who conducted in-depth studies and field experiments addressing various aspects of industrial engineering and its practical applications.
The topics discussed during the seminar ranged from studies in the development of medical and industrial technology to research aimed at improving the performance of artificial limbs and orthotic supports, in addition to a review of the latest innovations in this field.
The faculty and participants in the seminar praised the quality of the research presented and the level of achievement the students have reached in their studies and analysis of the topics. Constructive guidance and recommendations were also provided to develop and improve certain aspects of the research and future operations
