Dr. Fahad, one of the faculty members in the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics, participated in the defense of a master’s thesis in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the College of Engineering, University of Al-Nahrain. The thesis, titled ‘Twisted Wire Fixation Using the Ilizarov Technique,’ was presented by student Alaa Abbas Najm. The defense committee was chaired by Dr. Mohammed Shihab Ahmed, Dean of the College of Canadian Medicine, and attended by Dr. Hassanein Ali Lafata from the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the College of Engineering.
