Some first-year students in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, as part of the requirements of the Bologna system, presented lectures and PowerPoint presentations to their peers, specifically for the subject of mathematics. These presentations were conducted in the form of seminars, serving as part of the formative assessment for the mathematics course. The supervision was carried out by Dr. Ali Mahdi Muftin, a lecturer in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. During one of these seminars, student Mohammed Sadeq, a first-year student in the morning study session, delivered an outstanding presentation. Under Dr. Muftin's supervision, he presented a video demonstration of a simplified and distinctive method for finding the square roots of complex numbers (i). We commend the efforts of Dr. Ali Mahdi Muftin and the student, and we wish our dear students further progress and success. Below is the link to the lecture presentation. [Link to presentation]
