A humanitarian initiative was carried out by students and professors from the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics at the University of Al-Nahrain. They volunteered to provide a service for an individual in need of an upper limb prosthesis. The volunteer team consisted of students interested in modern technologies and experienced professors specializing in the design and fabrication of artificial limbs.
The case requiring the upper limb prosthesis was carefully selected, and the service was provided free of charge through the initiative of both students and professors. The goal was to offer assistance and support to community members facing health challenges.
The artificial limb was meticulously designed and manufactured with high skill and attention to detail. After completing the fabrication process, the new prosthesis was properly fitted and adjusted for the patient’s effective use.
This humanitarian initiative highlights positive values of cooperation and solidarity within the community. It sends a powerful message about the importance of collective efforts in helping others and improving their quality of life.
