A group of faculty members from the Biomedical Engineering Department, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Anas Qusai Hashem and Dr. Samar Ali Jaber, participated along with graduate students: Ali Faisal Abdul Kareem, a Ph.D. candidate, and Mohammed Hussun Alwan, a Ph.D. candidate, under the supervision of Dr. Anas Qusai Hashem, and Qabs Tareq Abdul Kareem, a master's student, under the supervision of Dr. Samar Ali Jaber, in the 5th International Scientific Conference of Alkafeel University (ISCKU 2024), held in Najaf Al-Ashraf from February 17-18, 2024. The conference saw the participation of numerous researchers from various Arab and international universities. Scientific research papers presented included: 'Infrared Medical Thermography, Medical Applications, and Its Basic Principles: A Review,' 'A review on Breast Thermography in Medicine,' and 'Longitudinal Assessment Of Hemodynamic Performance In SJM Regent Model Mechanical Aortic Prosthesis Across One Year Period.' The papers were presented virtually through the Zoom platform. The research will be published in the conference proceedings, indexed in Clarivate and Scopus databases.
