Description of Graduate Studies (Postgraduate Studies and Graduate Studies)

Bachelor of Civil Engineering

Students who hold the high school certificate / scientific branch are awarded the bachelor’s degree in civil engineering for the graduate after successfully completing (214) two hundred and fourteen semester units studied by the student in (4) four academic years and with two semesters per year. Courses include mandatory courses and optional courses. After graduation, the graduate is qualified to work in universities and companies.

 

Master of Science in Civil Engineering

Applicants who hold a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is awarded a Master’s degree after the successful completion of (36) thirty-six study units, including (26) twenty-six units of courses divided into two semesters in the first preparatory year, (10) units in the second year of study. Courses include mandatory courses and optional courses. After graduation, the graduate is qualified to work in universities and research centers and work in consulting offices in the field of specialization.

Ph.D. in Civil Engineering

This study is preceded by a master’s degree in Civil Engineering and the applicants are awarded a Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering after successfully completing (60) sixty study units, including (26) twenty-six study units divided into two semesters in the first preparatory year and (34) thirty-four units in the second and third year of the study. Courses include mandatory courses and optional courses. After graduation, the graduate is qualified to work in universities and research centers and work in consulting offices in the field of specialization.
