Department Rapporteur Duties

• Acting on the head of the department in some of the powers by supervising the organization of the department.
• Representing the head of the department in the periodic meetings and the meetings of the Deanship in the absence of his presence.
• Coordination and development of departmental relations within and outside the college.
• Participate in supervising the provision of all the requirements of the educational, research, administrative and financial.
• Implementing and following up the decisions of the department council. Raising the notes of the head of the department in all the students or employees of the department from violating the required meals or any other irregularities.
• Assisting the head of the department in preparing the quarterly and annual scientific reports on the activities of the scientific department.
• Assist the head of the department in distributing the students on the training sites and distributing supervision to the employees of the department.
• Assisting the head of the department in supervising the students’ scientific affairs for the various stages of study.
• Raising the special memoranda in issuing the necessary administrative orders regarding the affairs of the scientific department after obtaining the approval of the head of the department and the Deanship.
• Raise the memoranda to identify the needs of the department of teachers, technicians and administrators.
• Assist in distributing the lessons to the faculty members in the scientific department.
• Assistance in the development of study schedules and examination schedules.
• Assist in holding meetings with students in the department to identify their needs, problems and difficulties during their academic career at the university and listen to their suggestions and opinions and find the necessary solutions and submit recommendations to the Dean of the College.
• Signing the form for the payment of lectures fees to the outside teachers and teaching the department.
• Recommending the approval of the granting of regular vacations to university employees on behalf of the head of the department when he does not exist.
• Raising notes recommending the issuance of dismissal decisions because of the absence of students who exceed the permitted percentage of students of the department or branch in accordance with the instructions.
• Raising notes to the head of the department by recommending issuing orders for alerting and returning students to absences or when they fail and violate regulations and instructions.
• Supervising the preparation of classrooms and providing the necessary inputs for theoretical and practical lessons.
• Follow up students’ commitment to university regulations and regulations.
