Dr. Uns Qusai Hashem obtains a patent Dr. Uns Qusai Hashem, a lecturer in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, obtained a patent entitled (Design and Fabrication of Dry Sensors to Detect the Electrical Activity of the Brain)

he study aims to evaluate the performance of three types of dry contact sensors designed and manufactured based on different types of substrate and coating materials. These electrical sensors were subjected to many tests and examinations in various places and in different devices to ensure their suitability for the measurements of the electroencephalogram.
The dry contact sensors were evaluated by comparing the performance of these dry electrical sensors with the traditional wet electrical sensors used in hospitals and determining the correlation between them according to approved scientific bases. The results showed the effectiveness, efficiency and high reliability of these new manufactured types
