On Monday, November 27, 2023, the Computer Engineering Department, in cooperation with the Women’s Empowerment Unit, held an awareness workshop entitled

(No to violence...yes to affection)

The workshop included a review of the basics of choosing the above period to call for combating types of violence against women

The lecture also addressed the types of violence to which women are exposed in the world and Iraqi society in particular

In conclusion, the specialized numbers established by the Ministry of Interior for reporting various cases of domestic violence were presented

The lecture included a number of female members of the department and college, in addition to a number of the department’s teachers
