Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering held its first general meeting for the academic year 2023-2024 at nine-thirty in the morning on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, in Degla Hall. The meeting was attended by the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Juma Salman Jiyad, and the Department Head, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdel Samie, chaired the meeting., in the presence of the department’s rapporteur and members of the general body of the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering, including teachers, technicians, and administrators. The meeting included a discussion of preparations for the new academic year 2023-2024, a review of the tasks and distribution of the department’s committees, the maintenance of laboratories, and the future organization of the department’s scientific activities, including seminars and workshops. The topic of scientific research was also discussed, and the teaching staff were urged to complete the research plan and publish it in the appropriate archives.
