Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Ayad Murad Takhakh, As part of a series of lectures aimed at developing students' skills, the Department of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Engineering held a workshop entitled:

Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Classification

The workshop was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammed Khair Al-Din Abbas and targeted students of the department. It took place on Sunday, April 26, 2026, in the lecture hall.

The workshop covered the established principles for classifying unmanned aerial vehicles according to weight, range, and type of use. It also reviewed prominent models and practical applications in both civilian and military fields.

Recommendations:

To enhance students' knowledge of the different types of unmanned aerial vehicles and their various uses.

To support the practical application of the technology by examining real-world models.

To encourage students to pursue research and development in the field of unmanned aerial vehicle design and classification.
