The Department of Drone Engineering held a workshop entitled:

Image Processing in UAVs

Presented by Assistant Lecturer Ayat Ali Abdullah, the workshop took place on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, in the Drone Engineering Department auditorium.

The workshop covered the fundamentals of digital image processing and its applications in drone systems, including image quality enhancement, information extraction, and its use in surveillance, reconnaissance, and intelligent data analysis, all of which contribute to improving the technical performance of drones.

Recommendations:

Enhance students' skills in image processing and its practical applications.

Employ artificial intelligence techniques in analyzing images captured by drones.

Support applied projects that rely on image processing in engineering fields.
