As part of the College of Engineering’s commitment to promoting a culture of innovation and supporting student talents, the Dean of the College of Engineering at Al-Nahrain University received, on Sunday, March 29, 2026, and in the presence of the Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Engineering, a number of students from the department who presented a set of practical ideas for innovative technical projects.

The students’ ideas were highly welcomed by the Dean, who praised their level and their eagerness to translate academic knowledge into implementable projects. He also affirmed the college’s readiness to support these projects and provide the necessary funding when needed, within the available resources.

The Dean also responded positively to the students’ proposal by approving the establishment of the “Engineering Innovation Club,” which will serve as a scientific and practical platform aimed at helping students implement their ideas and innovations, while providing a stimulating environment for creativity and teamwork under specialized academic supervision.

This meeting reaffirms the College of Engineering’s approach to supporting extracurricular activities and enhancing the spirit of initiative among students of the Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Engineering Department, contributing to the preparation of a creative generation capable of keeping pace with rapid technological advancements.
