The Department of Computer Engineering at the College of Engineering – Nahrain University participated in the activities of Entrepreneurship Week, which was held to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among students, and to support creative ideas and startup projects with social and technological impact.

The department’s participation included showcasing several technical projects and ideas developed by its students, focusing on applying modern technologies to solve practical problems, in addition to highlighting the role of computer engineering in supporting the digital economy and building startups.

The department emphasized its commitment to keeping pace with scientific and technological developments, encouraging students to adopt entrepreneurial thinking and transform innovative ideas into practical projects, contributing to the development of a knowledge-based economy and sustainable technological growth.

This initiative also aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, by fostering entrepreneurship, supporting innovation, and promoting sustainable economic development through technology-driven student projects.
