The Department of Computer Engineering at the College of Engineering – Nahrain University has achieved fifth place nationally among computer engineering departments in Iraqi universities, according to the results of the academic evaluation within the national ranking issued by the competent authorities.

This achievement is the culmination of the scientific and academic efforts exerted by the university administration and the college dean, Prof. Dr. Eyad Murad Takhakh, and the department leadership, Assist. Prof. Dr. Israa Badr Nasser, along with the department’s teaching and administrative staff, as well as the outstanding contributions of students in enhancing the department’s academic and research standards.

This advancement reflects the quality of accredited academic programs, the effectiveness of scientific research, and adherence to accreditation and quality standards, contributing to strengthening Nahrain University’s position among leading Iraqi universities.

This accomplishment also aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, by demonstrating excellence in academic programs, promoting effective research, and ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education at the national level.
