Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Fawzi Mohammed participated as a committee member in the Master's thesis defense of Yusra Hussein Kadhim, for her thesis titled:
"Optical Fiber Based Refractive Index Sensor For Acetone Concentration Detection."

Asst. Prof. Dr. Ansam Majid Salman also participated as a co-supervisor for the student.

The defense took place in Prof. Dr. Mazin Manoel Elias Hall at the Institute of Laser for Postgraduate Studies / University of Baghdad, on Thursday, July 24th, 2025.
