Civil Engineering Department / Ph.D. Dissertation

At 9:00 am on Monday, 16/6/2025, in the council room of the Civil Engineering Department / College of Engineering / Al-Nahrain University, a discussion was held for a Ph.D. student in the Department of Civil Engineering (AbaDher Majid AbdOun) in his dissertation tagged:

“ TWO WAY SHEAR PERFORMANCE OF REINFORCED CONCRETE FLATPLATE-COLUMN CONNECTIONS EXPERIENCING CYCLIC EXCITEMENTS ”

The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. AbdulMutalib Eissa Saeed / College of Engineering / University of Baghdad, and the membership of Prof. Dr. Nisreen Salih Mohammed / College of Engineering / University of Technology, and the membership of Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Saleem Ibrahim / College of Engineering / Al-Nahrain University, and the membership of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Falih Ahmed  / College of Engineering / Al-Nahrain University, and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Zuhair Khedher Alawi / College of Engineering / Al-Nahrain University.

The dissertation was completed under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Laith Khalid Kamel from the Civil Engineering Department / College of Engineering / Al-Nahrain University

The dissertation was scientifically evaluated by the first scientific reviewer (Prof. Dr. Wael Shawqi AbdulSahib  / College of Engineering / University of Technology) and the second scientific reviewer (Prof.  Dr.  Ashraf AbdulHadi Muhammed / College of Engineering / Al-Mustansiriyah University) and linguistically by (Assistant Professor Dr. Mustafa Kamal Mahmood / College of Engineering / Al-Nahrain University), where the dissertation was accepted as it fulfilled the requirements for obtaining a Ph.D. degree.
