A research was published by Dr. Suhaib Jawad Kazem entitled Porous Jump Model to Interpret the Effect of Perforated Absorber Layer Inclination on Solar Cooker Reliability In Journal of Solar Energy Research / located within Scopus containers The research dealt with the use of the porous jump model to simulate the flow of air in the porous and heat-absorbing medium inside a solar stove using the Darcy-Weisbach equation and taking advantage of the marginal jump and the effect of its inclination due to the elongation of the porous medium model compared to its thickness, it was concluded that this method is computationally effective to approximate the effect of a porous medium without the need to engineer or optimize the network within the porous structure.
