Under the patronage and presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Jumaa Salman Chiad, the first meeting of the General Assembly of Department of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Engineering was held on 18-12-2024. Dr. Chiad talked about the importance of the department and the urgent future need for its establishment and the privacy that distinguishes it compared to the corresponding departments in terms of design and providing field hours for students, which contributes to the graduation of a distinguished generation of drone engineers. While the head of the department, Prof. Dr. Ali Hussein Mohamed, spoke about the mechanism of work, the distribution of duties, and moving forward in that the modern department takes its position with his colleagues from other departments of the college.
