Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Juma Salman Jiad and the supervision of the Head of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Sabri Salem, the Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering organized a workshop on Thursday, December 5, 2024, titled:

"Writing Research Papers, Theses, and Dissertations Using LaTeX."

The workshop was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Amina Mahmoud Shaker and Lecturer Yaseen Saadi Abbas. It focused on the importance of scientific writing using LaTeX and highlighted the key differences between LaTeX and commonly used scientific text editing programs.

The workshop was attended by a group of faculty members and researchers and concluded with a valuable discussion.
