Assistant Professor Dr. Rana Ibrahim Mahmoud, a faculty member in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, participated as a member of the defense committee for the Master's thesis of Zina Muzahim Hamoud, a student in the Department of Biology, College of Science, University of Baghdad. Her thesis was titled:

"Evaluation of Some Physiological and Immunological Parameters in Patients with Graves’ Disease"

The defense committee included:

• Assistant Professor Dr. Rana Ibrahim Mahmoud, College of Engineering, Al-Nahrain University (Member).

• Assistant Professor Dr. Zainab Khudair Hussein, College of Science, University of Baghdad (Member and Supervisor).

The thesis was scientifically reviewed by:

• Professor Dr. Arij Abbas Zabon, College of Science, Al-Mustansiriya University.
• Assistant Professor Dr. Mahdi Haidar Hammadi, College of Science, Al-Karkh University.

The linguistic review was conducted by Lecturer Dr. Hussam Sabah Ibrahim, College of Science, University of Baghdad.

The public defense took place on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at 10:00 AM in the Department of Astronomy and Space Hall. The thesis was approved with distinction, meeting the requirements for the Master’s degree.
