The Department of Biomedical Engineering at the College of Engineering, Al-Nahrain University, under the patronage of the Dean, Professor Dr. Jumaa Salman Jiad, organized a workshop titled:

"Laboratory Equipment: Principles, Uses, and Maintenance"

The workshop was held on Thursday, November 7, 2024, in collaboration with United Medical Company and coordinated by the Head of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Anas Qusay Hashim, along with Dr. Safa Laith Kilan, Assistant Lecturer Hamza Abbas Fadel, and Engineer Hadeer Muaid Mohammed. The event was attended by a large number of faculty members and students from the department.

The workshop aimed to familiarize students with the latest technologies and devices used in medical laboratories, enhancing their practical skills in operating and utilizing these devices.

The program included theoretical lectures and hands-on applications delivered by specialists from United Medical Company, showcasing the latest laboratory equipment. Students had the opportunity to explore the mechanisms and practical applications of these devices in disease diagnosis.

The workshop witnessed significant student engagement, reflecting their enthusiasm for developing their scientific and practical skills in preparation for careers in biomedical engineering.
