The Biomedical Engineering Department at Al-Nahrain University, under the guidance of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Jumaa Salman Jiad, and the supervision of the Head of the Biomedical Engineering Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Anas Qusay Hashim, organized a workshop for faculty teaching first and second-year students on the requirements of the Bologna Process for the 2024-2025 academic year.

The workshop, presented by Assistant Lecturer Zaid Mustafa Khudair and titled "Lecture for Biomedical Engineering Faculty (First and Second Year) on the Bologna Process Requirements for the 2024-2025 Academic Year," provided a comprehensive overview of the Bologna Process.

The workshop covered essential aspects of the curriculum, including course objectives, learning outcomes, and foundational guidance. It also reviewed instructional and learning strategies, along with an explanation of both theoretical and practical course components and methodologies.

Additional topics included the distribution of instructional hours, types of sessions (scheduled and unscheduled), and essential reference materials. The session also outlined the grading system based on formative assessment, ensuring an accurate evaluation of student performance.

In terms of student data management, the workshop detailed the procedures for tracking attendance and recording grades, emphasizing the importance of consistent follow-up to enhance the effectiveness of the educational process.
