The Department of Biomedical Engineering, represented by the Head of the Biomedical Engineering Department, conducted a field visit to the State Company for Marketing Drugs and Medical Appliances (Kimadia) / Engineering and Maintenance Department under the Ministry of Health. This visit aimed at establishing practical academic scientific cooperation to achieve a set of agreed-upon goals and volunteer initiatives, including:

  1. Repairing and maintaining malfunctioning medical devices located in the Medical Devices Laboratory of the Biomedical Engineering Department after conducting a complete inventory of these malfunctioning devices.

  2. Inviting specialized professors in various fields of medical devices to visit the laboratory and deliver lectures to students and teaching assistants in preparation for the upcoming academic year.

  3. Striving to transfer some surplus medical devices from the company to the laboratory in the department to benefit from them.
