Assistant Professor Dr. Rana Ibrahim Mahmoud, a faculty member in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, participated in the master's thesis defense committee of the student (Abeer Mohammed Jassim) in the Department of Life Sciences / College of Science / University of Baghdad, for her thesis titled "Assessment of Some Inflammatory Factors and Antioxidants in Iraqi Postmenopausal Women with Hypertension." The committee was chaired by Professor Dr. Jabbar Hamid Yanzeel and included Assistant Professor Dr. Rana Ibrahim Mahmoud, Lecturer Dr. Sura Fouad Abdul Ameer, and Assistant Professor Dr. Zainab Khudair Hussein as a member and supervisor. The public defense took place in the hall of Professor Dr. Jalal Mohammed Saleh in the Department of Chemistry on Thursday, July 11, 2024, and the student received an excellent grade.
