The Head of the Department of Electronic and Communications Engineering (Assist. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Sabri Salem) participated with the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Jumaa Salman Jiyad, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Naseer Aboud Al-Haboubi, and a number of heads of other scientific departments in the College in receiving the Ministerial Committee. The competent authority to follow up on the development of new scientific departments (Department of Drone Engineering, and Department of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Engineering) in the College of Engineering - Al-Nahrain University.

The Ministerial Committee carried out a comprehensive audit of the teaching and administrative staff in each of the new departments. It was also ensured that the expertise and higher qualifications necessary to meet teaching and research requirements were available. The administrative and organizational structures were also evaluated to ensure the effectiveness of departmental management. In addition, the classrooms, scientific laboratories, and technical workshops assigned to each scientific department were reviewed and audited, and the committee ensured the availability of the necessary facilities and equipment to support the educational process to ensure providing a distinctive educational experience for students.
