A group from the Biomedical Engineering Department at the College of Engineering - University of Al-Nahrain conducted a scientific visit with first-year students in both morning and evening sessions to the Iraqi Museum on Thursday, April 18, 2024. This visit was carried out in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to familiarize themselves with Iraq's ancient artifacts and to preserve the country's cultural and historical heritage.

This visit is part of the department's efforts to broaden students' knowledge and enhance their cultural awareness, encouraging them to take an interest in Iraq's history and culture. The visit was accompanied by Assistant Professors Dr. Sadiq Jafar Abbas, Dr. Rana Ibrahim Mahmoud, Dr. Mona Mustafa Kareem, Dr. Hussein Abdul Jabbar, Assistant Lecturers Zaid Mustafa Khudair, Ahmed Lateef Khadrahem, Arkan Saad Mohammed, Duaa Nofel Hazem, and Fatima Ibrahim Yasser, along with engineers Mohammad Hussein Ghazi and Mina Thamer Ibrahim.

The visit included a tour inside the Iraqi Museum, where students observed and studied numerous artifacts representing Iraq's ancient history and rich culture. Detailed discussions were held about the artifacts, and students were guided on the importance of preserving this great cultural heritage.

This visit provides students with a valuable opportunity to enhance their knowledge and understanding of Iraq's ancient history, motivating them to work towards preserving this important cultural heritage for future generations.
