In the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Rana Ibrahim Mahmoud participated as a member of the thesis defense committee for Master's student "Hadeel Talal Ayash" in the Department of Life Sciences, College of Science, University of Baghdad, regarding her thesis titled:

"Role of cystatin C and uromodulin in chronic kidney disease progression."

The public defense took place in the Physics Hall at the College of Science, on Sunday, March 17, 2025, at 9:00 AM. The committee was chaired by Professor Dr. Jabbar Hameed Yenzil from the College of Science, University of Baghdad, and included Assistant Professor Dr. Rana Ibrahim Mahmoud from the College of Engineering, University of Al-Nahrain, and Lecturer Dr. Yasmeen Lateef Jasim from the College of Science, University of Baghdad. The thesis was supervised by Professor Dr. Makarem Qasim Dawood from the College of Science, University of Baghdad.
