The Civil Engineering Department at the University of Al-Nahrain organized a scientific lecture titled "Longitudinal Joint Performance of Wood Concrete Precast Panels under Lateral Loads" on Monday, March 11, 2024. The lecture was delivered by Assistant Professor Riyadh Jawad Aziz, Head of the Building and Project Management Department at Al-Israa University, in the presence of the department chair, Professor Dr. Musaab Ayed Kasab, and the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Haitham Alaa Hussain, along with several faculty members and graduate students.

During the lecture, Dr. Riyadh discussed the techniques for preparing wood concrete precast panels, which are essential components of modern engineering innovations in construction and project management. The lecture addressed strategies to enhance the performance of these panels under lateral loads and the importance of understanding the interaction between wood and concrete materials in this context.

At the end of the lecture, Dr. Riyadh Jawad Aziz thanked the attendees for their active participation and encouraged further research and innovation in this vital field of civil engineering.
