RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

 

I did many researches on laser applications,Nanotechnology, porous silicon nanostructure, laser annealing of amorphous silicon, surface modification of metals, photoluminescence of nanocrystallites, Raman spectroscopy, laser-induced etching process, electrochemical etching of semiconductors (Si, Ge, GaP, GaAs), Second harmonic generation, Non-linear optics, Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD).

 

COMPUTER AWARENESS

 

Software packages: MATHCAD, MATLAB, MATHMATICA, ORIGIN.

Programming language: FORTRAN

Word processor: WP60, Ms-Word.

Sponsored Projects

 

            Number of sponsored projects have been conducted in the field of interest as follow:

 

1. "Silicon Nanostructures produced by lasers" sponsored by Sandia Laboratories/ US and the Arab Science & Technology Foundation. The budget was 14,000 $ and the project was completed in 2009.

2. "Texturing of semiconductors for electronic applications" sponsored by research & Development Department, Ministry of Higher Education. The budget was 18,000 & and completed in 2010.

3."Nanostructured Solar Cells produced by Lasers" sponsored by CRDF/US and the Arab Science & Technology Foundation. The budget of this project was 24,000 $ and completed in 2011.
